Her album “Broadcast” is released in March. Manos Achalinotopoulos, Sokratis Malamas, Ara Dinkjian, Ismael Lo (Senegal), Teofilo Chantre (Capo Verde), Dulce Pontes (Portugal), Yiota Kotseta and Sotiris Lemonidis – who also does the arrangements – are the composers of the songs, while lyrics are given by the poet Michalis Ganas, the writer Apostolos Doxiadis, Alkis Alkeos and Mirto Kondova “Broadcast” is also released in Europe in a special English edition, and in Spain in a special Spanish edition entitled “Emision”.
She gives a series of shows at the “Diogenis Studio” Music Hall in Athens from February to early May together with Eleni Peta and the percussionist group “Krotala”. Sotiris Lemonidis does the arrangements. The stage set is by Manolis Pantelidakis.
In May, she plays in Spain (Madrid and La Coruna) and in the United States (New York, Boston, Buffalo). In June she takes part at the WOMAD festival in Athens, as well as in the Zaltfestival of Mainz in Germany. In July she plays at the International Jazz Festival of Istanbul, and in the Stimmen Festival in Germany. Apart from all her appearances at international festivals, she tours in Greece and Cyprus together with Alkinoos Ioannides throughout the summer.
Regarding her guest appearances in discography, her performance for the OST “Brazilero” by Nikos Portokaloglou is really exceptional.
