“Everything begins otherwise” for Eleftheria Arvanitaki in 2011. She presents a series of so-called shows at Pallas Theatre in Athens. The direction is by Yiannis Kakleas and the sets by Manolis Pantelidakis. In summer, she tours all over Greece with a quartet.
In 2011, Eleftheria Arvanitaki also makes a number of performances outside Greece. In May, she gives two concerts in Spain (Burgos and Santiago de Compostela) and in July she makes a guest appearance in Javier Limon’s show “Mujeres de agua” in the context of the North Sea Jazz Festival in Rotterdam among other singers, like the Kurdish Aynur and the exceptional Spanish singer Concha Buika This was a live presentation of Limon’s “Women of the Mediterranean” album, where Eleftheria performs uniquely the traditional Greek song “Milo mou ke mandarini” in Limon’s adaptation.
Last, in October she made a mini-tour in central Europe: Zurich, Llorach, Dotrmund and Vienna) and received exceptional criticisms.
In December, a series of performances begins at Gazarte in Athens entitled “Let’s go to miracles again”.
