This is an album dedicated to poems that became songs written by the composer Dimitris Papadimitriou. Poems by classics such as Sappho, as well as contemporary Greek poets, such as the Nobel Prize winner poet Odysseas Elytis, were transformed into songs performed by the magical voice of Eleftheria Arvanitaki. Dimitris Papadimitriou, also produced the album It is Eleftheria Arvanitaki’s best-selling album which, when it was released, made a sensation with its very special packaging in the form of a calendar, with each month being depicted as a painting by famous painters. This is her top selling album that enriched her repertoire with even more hits.
TA KORMIA KE TA MACHERIA (i.e. THE BODIES AND THE KNIVES)

After their very successful encounter for the “Meno Ektos” album , Eleftheria Arvanitaki records an album with songs of Ara Dinkjian, with lyrics written by Lina Nikolakopoulou and the poet Michalis Ganas. Dimitris Papadimitriou orchestrates the album. The album – which was again a big success – includes some of Arvanitaki’s greatest hits ever.
MENO EKTOS (i.e. I STILL REMAIN AN OUTCAST)

This is the album including Eleftheria Arvanitaki’s world hit “Dynata” and the first time she collaborates with Ara Dinkjian, the American-Armenian composer and oud soloist with whom they created big time hits. The whole album was a milestone for Arvanitaki, since most of its tracks became great hits. A number of very important song makers joined forces in this album, which was produced by Eleftheria Arvanitaki. The orchestration is by Nikos Antipas.

This is Eleftheria Arvanitaki’s second collaboration with Stamatis Spanoudakis, a composer whom she likes to call her “lucky star”.
