She meets the songwriter Stamatis Spanoudakis and they release the album \u201cKontrabando\u201d, in which Stamatis Spanoudakis writes both the lyrics and the music and is responsible for the arrangements. \u201cKontrabando\u201d is still considered a \u2018landmark\u2019 album for the Greek discography, as Eleftheria\u2019s \u2018peculiar\u2019 and highly distinctive voice among the western instruments that were used managed to combine tradition with novelty.<\/span><\/p>\n

She perform with Christos Nikolopoulos in \u00abNtalikes\u00bb.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the same year, she features in the album of the composer Stavros Kouyioumtzis \u201cTreloi ke Aggeloi\u201d, where she performs one of her greatest hits entitled \u201cTo Kokkino Foustani\u201d (i.e. \u201cThe Red Dress\u201d).<\/span><\/p>\n
